The inspiration for this painting is rooted in the Artists stay in Japan where he remembered mists rising against forested slopes from a river below. The border pays homage to the silk frame found on many Japanese screens.

Free standing screen of six panels.

These six panels are stretched canvas each 18" x 78" with two 3" feet on each panel. The Backs are painted the same black as seen on the front. The panels are hinged together to make a free standing screen that requires approximately 90" of floor space. When flat the unit requires 108" of Wall space.
